Argh...!
Well back into to study. So not ready, after experiencing real life for a week, and the chance to have proper relationships with the GDTers it is so hard and so sad to loose that to come back to this fake community environment. I have had a real stuggle coming back, I feel like all I have left here, well for the next 5weeks, is to just satisfy requirments and tick boxes so I can get my qualification. Thailand is now looking up, it will be a great chance to again stretch myself and learn things each and every day. So far the dropping of Christian Ministry has had its ups and downs, Rod wants me to still do most the classes, which I disagree with, since I dropped it and all. But when I have had the time off I have used it to implement things in my life and to learn from God. It has been hard without T here, so fast she went, even though our time together did feel like at least two weeks. But I have had a renewed energy to be creative and strive for my future again just from having her around. i bought a book on sign language and have been practising my alphabets and words. I have also been putting in more time for circus and I have applied for some jobs for down in Melbourne. Last night we had the second cultural dinner, Thai again, by Jas and Bel. It was great, Bel decorated and created a pretty awesome mood, and Jas cooked. The food was great, dont know if it was as good as mine and Sarah's, but it was an awesome night. After dinner Mark played the Djembe, and Ruth and I fire twirled. While Ruth twirled, me, simon and Jess did tumbling runs infront. After the twirling and the singing and the sparklers, or which I attempted to club swing with, I taught some adagio to Jess and Mark, with me and Ruth spotting. It was awesome, I love being able to share circus..! This morning I made it to Townsville Baps for Church. For me it is definently a culture shock, and after a few jokes too manyy by the paster, I really don't want to go back. SO this afternoon I went to mass with Ruth, it was great, it reminded me so much of St. Mary's in Brisbane, and Canberra Baps. I am such a sucker for tradition, we plan to go back, I think I may make it my home church while I am here. Miss you all, love you lots, Always...Debbie
